Gift at a tier
Pick a product or a specific variant and a quantity. The widget shows its image, your label such as “FREE GIFT!” and its price struck through.
Gift at a spend goal
Set several goals, each with its own gift, count the whole cart or only chosen products, and pick where the message shows.
Free shipping at a tier
A tier can grant free shipping instead of, or as well as, a gift.
Set it up
- For a tier gift: open the deal’s Price tiers, choose Add free gift on the tier and pick the product.
- For a spend goal: open Cart rewards, set “Cart total reaches” and choose the gift.
- Choose the placement and check the messages.
- Save, then test a cart below and above the goal.

Good to know
- A cart reward is not added automatically. The customer unlocks it and clicks Add.
- One cart reward configuration per store. Rewards are gifts; a percentage off at a spend amount is not part of Cart rewards.
- The spend goal is measured on the cart subtotal before discounts.
Questions
Can I give a free gift when the cart reaches $100?
Yes, with Cart rewards. Set “Cart total reaches” to $100 and choose the gift. Customers see how much is missing and add the gift at $0 once they reach it.
Can a quantity tier include a free gift?
Yes. Any tier can carry one or more gifts, which go into the cart with the tier.
