One Stop Store Locator & Maps

Store locator, no API key. See where customers search for you.

One Stop Store Locator & Maps is a Shopify app that adds a store locator page to your online store. Customers search by city, postal code or their current location and find your stores, dealers or pickup points on a map and in a list, with filters, opening hours, open now, directions and click to call. Every location can have its own page, which Shopify lists in your sitemap. Searches & gaps shows where customers searched and where they found no store nearby, with US Census demographics of those areas. The app needs no API key and no map account.

Features

What the app does

A store locator for your stores, dealers, stockists and pickup points, and a view of where customers look for you.

Store locator page, no API key

On install the app adds a Store Locator page to your store. It shows your locations on a map and in a list. There is no Google or Mapbox key to create and no map account to set up.

Search by city, postal code or location

Customers type a city, postal code or address, or choose Search near me to use their current location. Results show the distance in miles or kilometers. As customers type, the search box suggests matching stores, and US places when suggestions are on.

Filters for dealers and stockists

Give locations tags, such as the product lines they carry or curbside pickup, and customers filter by them. Choose whether several filters match any or all. Retailers that only sell online can be listed with a link to their website.

Opening hours and open now

Set hours for each day, with up to three time ranges for split shifts. The list shows open or closed with today’s hours, and an Open now filter shows only the locations open at that moment. The time zone comes from each location’s position.

Directions and click to call

Every location has a Directions button that opens the route in Google Maps and a Call button that dials its number. The detail view shows the whole week of hours, contact details and your own custom fields.

A page for every location

Publish a page for each location at /pages/locations/ with its address, hours, contacts, a map and nearby locations. Shopify lists the pages in your sitemap, and each page carries LocalBusiness structured data.

Searches & gaps

See how many customers searched in the last 30 days, how many found no store nearby and which areas they searched. Coverage gaps lists the areas with no store within about 25 miles (40 km), on a map.

US Census demographics

Open Area profile on a gap in the US to see the US Census demographics of that area: population, households, college-educated residents, jobs, area type, household income, householder age, household size and jobs by sector.

Leads when no store is nearby

When a search finds nothing in range, customers can leave their email. Leads lists every email with what the customer searched for and how far the nearest store was. Export the list as CSV.

CSV import

Add locations one at a time, with an address search for any country, or upload a CSV file of US locations with names, addresses, hours, tags and coordinates. The app gives you a template.

Appearance that fits your theme

Four map styles, a light or dark list, marker and cluster colors, fonts, sizes, corner rounding and custom CSS. A live preview shows the real locator for desktop and mobile while you change it.

11 languages

The admin and the storefront locator come in 11 languages. The locator follows the language the customer browses your store in, and the Translations page lets you change any of its texts.

Privacy mode

Load the map only after a click, for stores that need consent before a third party sees customers’ IP addresses. Search and the result list work before the click.

On your store

Three ways to show the locator

All three use the same locations and the same settings. None needs code.

Store locator page

Created for you on install, under Online Store, then Pages. Change its URL and title from the app and add it to your menu.

Popup button

Turn on the Store locator button app embed for a floating button on every page. It opens the locator in an overlay.

Section on any page

Add the Store locator block to any page template in the theme editor, for example your contact page.

  • The Online Store sales channel.
  • The Store locator block and location pages need an Online Store 2.0 theme. The store locator page the app creates needs no theme editing.

Languages

Admin and locator in 11 languages

The storefront locator follows the language the customer browses your store in. You can change any of its texts per language on the Translations page. The help center is published in the same languages.

FAQ

Questions merchants ask

Do I need a Google Maps or Mapbox API key?

No. One Stop Store Locator & Maps needs no API key and no map account. The map works as soon as the app is installed.

How do customers search the store locator?

By city, postal code or address, or with Search near me, which uses the customer’s current location after they allow it. The results list shows the distance to each location, and filters narrow it by tag or to the locations open now.

Does the app create the store locator page for me?

Yes. On install it adds a page called Store Locator under Online Store, then Pages, usually at /pages/store-locator. You can change its URL and title from the app’s Settings and add it to your store’s menu.

Can I use it as a dealer or stockist locator?

Yes. Add each dealer or stockist as a location, give it tags such as the product lines it carries, and customers filter by those tags. Retailers that only sell online can be listed with a link to their website.

Can I import my locations from a spreadsheet?

Yes, from a CSV file of US locations. Bulk upload on the app’s Home page takes name, address, city, state and zip_code, plus optional hours, tags, phone, email, website and coordinates. Locations in other countries are added one at a time.

Does every location get its own page?

It can. Publish a page per location from Location pages in the app. Each page has the address, hours, contacts, a map and nearby locations, is listed in your Shopify sitemap and carries LocalBusiness structured data.

What does Searches & gaps show?

Where customers searched in the last 30 days, how many found no store nearby, and the areas where your nearest store is more than about 25 miles (40 km) away. For areas in the US, Area profile shows the US Census demographics of the area.

Which languages does the store locator support?

English, Chinese (Simplified), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish, in the storefront locator and in the admin. You can change any storefront text per language on the Translations page.

Which themes does it work with?

The store locator page the app creates needs no theme editing. The Store locator block and location pages need an Online Store 2.0 theme, because they use app blocks and metaobject templates.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is on the Shopify App Store listing, which always shows the current terms.
