How One Stop Volume Discounts does it
Tiers next to Add to cart
Vertical or horizontal tiers, each with an offer title, a discount title, a tag or badge, the price per item and the regular price struck through.
Variants inside the widget
Customers can pick sizes and colors for each item inside the widget, so 3 items can be 3 different variants.
Tier and quantity sync
By default, clicking a tier updates the quantity. Turn that off in Settings, Product page, and customers set the quantity in the theme’s quantity field while the matching tier follows.
Badges on product cards
Show the offer before the product page: a badge on product cards, on collection pages and anywhere else product cards appear, reads “up to -40%” or “from $59.40”.
Sold-out products
An app setting, off by default, keeps the widget visible on products and variants that are out of stock.
Stacked discounts
Add an order discount on top of the tier discount, as a percentage or a fixed amount, automatic or with a code.
Example: quantity breaks on a $25 candle
| Tier | Quantity | Saving | You pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single | 1 | None | $25.00 |
| Pair | 2 | 5% off | $47.50 |
| Four pack (BEST VALUE) | 4 | 12% off | $88.00 |

Good to know
- Online Store 2.0 themes only. Vintage themes are not supported.
- The discount follows the quantity in the cart at checkout, so a customer who removes items there drops to the matching tier.
Questions
Can customers type a quantity instead of clicking a tier?
Yes. Turn off “Clicking a tier updates the quantity” in Settings, Product page. Customers then use the theme’s quantity field and the widget highlights the tier that quantity reaches.
Can a quantity break apply to only some variants?
Yes. A deal can target specific variants, and a collection deal can include or exclude variants by words in their title.
Do quantity breaks need a discount code?
No. They apply automatically at checkout. You can switch a deal to a discount code if you prefer to hand one out.
