How do I show price per unit with quantity breaks?

Turn on “Show price per item” in the deal’s Advanced settings. Each tier then shows what one unit costs at that quantity, next to the tier total. That is the number customers compare when they are deciding between three and five. You can also show the regular price struck through with “Show product compare at price”, and choose between an interactive tier selector and a read-only price table in Layout.

Steps

  1. Open the deal and go to Advanced.
  2. Turn on “Show price per item”.
  3. Optionally turn on “Show product compare at price” to strike through the regular price, and “Show crossed-out original price in the footer” for the deal total.
  4. In Layout, choose Widget style: “Interactive” lets customers select a tier, “Static table” shows the tiers as a read-only price table.
  5. With the static table, decide whether to show the savings column and the column headers.
  6. In Design, set the font size and color for “Price per item” and “Full price” so they match your theme.
  7. Save and preview the product page.

What to watch out for

  • Price per item is a display setting. It changes what the widget shows, not what the discount does.
  • If your theme also prints a price next to its own variant picker, turn on “Hide price in the variants picker” in Advanced so two prices do not sit side by side.
