Can the volume discount widget show on sold-out products?
Yes, with an app setting that is off by default. Normally the widget hides when the selected variant or the whole product is out of stock. Turn on “Show the widget for out-of-stock products and variants” in Settings, Product page, and the tiers stay visible, so customers still see the offer. The app does not change your theme’s sold-out button.
Steps
- Open Settings in the app and choose Product page.
- Turn on “Show the widget for out-of-stock products and variants”.
- Save.
- Open a sold-out product on your store to check.
What to watch out for
- Your theme still decides whether a sold-out item can be added to the cart. The widget does not make it purchasable.
- Off by default, so nothing changes on your store until you turn it on.
